External Services

This plugin connects to Razorpay services to create payment orders and process payments for MemberPress purchases.

The plugin sends payment-related data to Razorpay when a customer starts checkout. This may include the transaction amount, currency, receipt or transaction ID, site name, Razorpay order ID, and payment details required to complete the payment.

The plugin also loads Razorpay Checkout JavaScript from Razorpay’s servers during checkout so the customer can complete the payment securely.

The Razorpay Payment for Memberpress plugin is released under the GPLv2 license, same as that
of WordPress.

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Activate the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen
  3. Navigate to MemberPress Settings Payments
  4. Add a new payment method
  5. Select Razorpay
  6. Enter Razorpay Key ID and Key Secret
  7. Save settings
  8. Create a membership product and select Razorpay as the payment gateway

Does this require MemberPress?

Yes. MemberPress must be installed and activated.

Does it support Razorpay Test Mode?

Yes. Use Razorpay test credentials.

Does it support UPI payments?

Yes. UPI payments are supported through Razorpay Checkout.

Does it support cards and net banking?

Yes. All payment methods supported by Razorpay Checkout are available.
