Install “Was this helpful?” just as you would any other WP Plugin:

  • Download “Was this helpful?” from WordPress.org.
  • Unzip the .zip file.
  • Upload the Plugin folder (was-this-article-helpful/) to the wp-content/plugins folder.
  • Go to Plugins Admin Panel and find the newly uploaded Plugin, “Was this helpful?” in the list.
  • Click Activate Plugin to activate it.

The plugin is excellent, we just need to add a functionality in the WordPress administrator to order the posts from most to least useful (DESC order).

Easy to configure and straight forward plugin

The plugin is simple and does the job very well. Install, select which post types to display in WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Helpful and you are good to go.

The plugin has scope for growth by adding few features as others have suggested. However, it is a useful plugin as it is.

Works as expected on PC. Works terrible on mobile. There's no padding in mobile, and the widget looks broken.

We need a simple dashboard just like you created the fast and simple feedback plugin for us. We really love this even we will donate some bucks but please add the dashboard to see which one is going up and doing great.

This thing, does what it says on the tin and ONLY that. No product placements, no dodgy connections or tracking. Just plain and simple functionality. I only have two suggestions, or areas of feedback. (Would be nice to have.) 1. A dashboard widget showing the overall helpfulness of posts/pages, and the 4-5 least helpful articles, which you could toggle to see the 4-5 most helpful articles. 2. It would be nice if the same indicator that is shown in the columns for the post/page list. Was shown in the Status & Visibility section in the post/page editor. This thing is a masterpiece of simplicity. Hopefully it stays that way. 🙂 +1 👍
