Installation

Upload wc-place-order-without-payment to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

This plugin is perfect for when you want to offer free products to collect customers information and want to make the order checkout as smooth as possible. I needed a few modifications and the customer service was top tier. I definitely recommend using the pro version

Limited Functionality in Free Version – Pro Features Only?

I initially thought this plugin would override the default WooCommerce functionality that prevents checkout for products with a price of 0. However, this functionality is not available in the free version of the plugin. All the useful options seem to be available only in the Pro version. I am unsure what features are actually provided in the free version. It would be helpful if the author could clarify what the free version includes, as this would benefit others.

Plugin (free version) had been working as expected, but had an issue with tax disappearing from cart and checkout after a software update. May be a very unusual case due to unique combination of plugins. Developer went to substantial effort to resolve the issue for me quickly, which is very much appreciated. The issue was resolved by using a reset feature in the plugin settings.

This plugin may do what it says, but only in the PRO edition. The standard edition only gives you the options to skip the cart and "Standard Add to cart button on shop pages", which doesn't seem to change anything.
