Installation

In most cases you can install automatically from WordPress.

However, if you install this manually, follow these steps:

Upload the entire wc-sales-count-manager folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
To configure plugin settings browse ‘WooCommerce >> Sales Manager’.

Yes, You can enable it for product category and tags pages but this feature is available only in addon of this plugin.

Do yourself a favor and just buy this plugin. like eBay having the number of SOLD notifications is social proof and makes customers buy products. The code is well written and the support is fantastic. The coder for this plugin helped me out after I purchased this, helped with some basic formatting. Excellent marketing tool, and will help you with online sales for sure.

Excellent for a business using multiple sales channels

This plugin is fantastic for manually editing sold count if you're selling your catalogue items on other marketplaces and/or in a physical store alongside your ecommerce site. It allows you to display the total of overall sales with manual entry, not just the amount of that item sold through the main website. Highly recommended and works out the box. We upgraded to pro and are very pleased with the features. The only thing I don't understand yet is in the edit post area there are two fields to enter a sold quantity but it doesn't specify which to use, what each one achieves or if you're supposed to use both. A feature request we'd really love to see is the ability to manually enter a minimum number of sold items before the count shows on the frontend, otherwise it is hidden. Showing '3 sold' could potentially be more bad than good, but being able to enter a minimum limit such as '50' would then show the text on the products you want to show off with.
