Description

Tired of waiting hours for Google Analytics (GA4) to update? Frustrated by dashboards you need a tutorial just to navigate?

WireBoard shows you who’s on your site right now, live, inside your WordPress admin. Your full analytics dashboard lives where you already work.

One-click setup. Start tracking for free in under a minute.

Why WireBoard?

GA4 has a real-time view, but it’s limited to a handful of metrics and updates with delays. The rest of your data takes hours to appear. Other alternatives lure you in with a free trial and then hit you with a paywall.

WireBoard has a real free plan. No trial, no credit card, no surprise. Your dashboard updates as visitors land on your site. You get both live data and historical reports in one place. And you can customize your dashboards to show exactly what matters to you.

Your dashboard, inside WordPress

Install the plugin, click one button, and your dashboard is ready. No code to edit, no JavaScript snippets to paste, no external setup.

Your full live dashboard is embedded directly in your WordPress admin. Not a summary, not a redirect to an external site. The actual dashboard.

Built for privacy

WireBoard is made in Switzerland by SwissOps Ltd. A single toggle enables cookie-less mode, which disables all cookies and local storage so your visitors are never tracked with persistent identifiers. Your data is never sold and only aggregated metrics are retained.

You decide what gets tracked

Exclude specific roles, IP addresses, URL patterns, or individual pages from tracking. Administrators are excluded by default.

Works with WooCommerce

Track the full customer journey: product views, add-to-cart, remove-from-cart, checkout, and purchase events. Toggle each event individually and optionally include revenue values to see the monetary impact of your traffic.

Custom event tracking

Track clicks, views, and other interactions without writing code. The Gutenberg block editor integration lets you add event tracking to Button, Image, and Group blocks directly from the sidebar. You can also use HTML data attributes for custom setups.

External Service

This plugin connects to WireBoard to collect and display analytics data. During setup, a WireBoard account is created automatically if you don’t already have one. The tracking script is loaded from WireBoard servers, and your analytics data is processed and stored by WireBoard. No analytics data is stored in your WordPress database.

By using this plugin you agree to the WireBoard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Do I need a WireBoard account?

Yes, but you don’t have to create one yourself. The plugin creates a free account for you automatically during setup. If you already have an account, you can connect it instead.

Is it really free?

Yes. Most WordPress sites are fully covered by the free plan: 2 websites, 3 dashboards, and 50,000 pageviews per month. If your site grows beyond that, paid plans start at $9/month.

How is this different from Google Analytics (GA4)?

WireBoard gives you live analytics AND historical reports in one place, right inside WordPress. You can literally watch visitors navigate your site as it happens. GA4 has a basic real-time view, but it’s limited to a few metrics and the rest of your data takes hours to show up.

Does the tracking script slow down my site?

No. The script loads asynchronously and does not block page rendering.

Can I exclude myself from tracking?

Yes. Administrators are excluded by default. You can also exclude specific roles, IP addresses, URL patterns, or individual pages from tracking.

What about GDPR?

WireBoard supports an optional cookie-less tracking mode, which disables all cookies and local storage. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I track custom events?

Yes. Enable custom events in WireBoard > Custom Events and use the Gutenberg block editor to add click, view, and load tracking to blocks without writing code. You can also add events manually via data attributes.

Does it work with WooCommerce?

Yes. Enable WooCommerce tracking to automatically capture product views, add-to-cart, checkout, and purchase events. Each event can be toggled individually and optionally include revenue values.

What happens if I exceed my plan limit?

Tracking pauses automatically and resumes when your quota resets at the start of your next billing cycle. A notice will appear in your WordPress admin to let you know.

Where is my data stored?

All analytics data is stored on WireBoard servers in Germany, not in your WordPress database. This keeps your site lightweight and your data accessible even if you switch hosts or reinstall WordPress.

What happens to my data if I uninstall the plugin?

Nothing. Your analytics history stays safe on WireBoard. You can reinstall the plugin and reconnect anytime to pick up where you left off. If you want to remove everything, you can delete your account and all data from your WireBoard account page.
