Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of Digital Goods for WooCommerce Checkout, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

Ans: Yes, this plugin is useful. who want to sell both types of products like Digital products and physical products then they can use this plugin. If your cart has both products then it works default WooCommerce flow. But if your cart has an only digital product then it will remove an unnecessary field from the checkout page as per plugin setting.

Great For Non-Physical Items

This plugin is what I needed for the many digital delivery items and services I have on my Web site. I do sell physical products too, so it is great that installing this plugin only affects the products I marked as "Virtual." If you have both physical and digital products in your cart, it will show the billing details and stuff the same as only having physical products. Basically, this plugin can get rid of the address fields and keep your checkout page fields simple with only E-mail and Order Notes if the cart items are all digital items.

It is a great plugin for non-physical items because customers don't need to fill in their address if they are just buying an unrelated digital download or online service, and there are people out there who can be hesitant to order an online service if they have to provide their address. I think it is smart to have this plugin for more simplicity and potential sales.

This is the best plugin for digital checkout. it adds a quick checkout button in the shop page and also in single products. also it makes no bug on urls and does not add incorrect get url parameters like some other plugins I have tested do. It is very complete even in the free version which I use. (updated) I asked to the support to update the plugin because it is very necessary in my testing experience, to all woocommerce shops. And they listened to me and updated it recently.

Incompatible with FluentCRM

Thought this might help with this issue. As soon as it was activated FluentCRM told me it was incompatible with the SMTP driver. FluentCRM is too important to be trashed. Guess who gets cut?

Works, Simple to Use

Tried other Woocommerce checkout form field editors, too complicated for what I needed. This one is ideal to eliminate customer info that's not needed for digital goods, reduce friction for customer. Use hint: To remove fields you added by mistake, click after the last field added. Then delete. You'll need to add the fields again that you want. To authors - avoid feature creep and please don't complicate the free version of this plugin. Thanks for making this!

I have been slowly working my way through creating an eCommerce artistic web site for my granddaughter. It has been a couple of decades since my last web site creation, along with some restrictive medical conditions blossoming, so I have expected things to progress slower than usual. I have not however expected things to be this slow. There is no doubt that your plugin will perform wonderfully once I finally understand and properly set it up. To this end I am thoroughly stumped! It would be wonderful if there was a set of instructions readily available which were simply detailed on the flow of steps to create a sample product which has 2 or 3 variations sold from a single button allowing the customer to select which variation to actually download. EG:
  • first step in creating listings for product variations
  • next steps in creating the product selection process..
  • when to add the descriptions, prices, ect
  • when and how to add the alternate variations available to purchase and download
  • continue through the steps necessary to provide a buy now button to add to the web page listing for the product.
  • How the tags and attributes affect or effect the buying/selecting process
    • I am considered a fairly intelligent person who at times struggles with initial perception issues (light bulb moments) but the method in which this plug in is documented and presented is leaving me locked out for over a week now. I know that with the right clue I can unlock this entire process. Any help, direction, suggestions, mythology etc. will be GREATLY appreciated.
