PLEASE NOTE: you must be using WooCommerce with the plugin.

Note there are three other ways to duplicate products, using this plugin.

1) Besides the link, you can also tick the checkbox next to a selection of products. Then from “Bulk actions” above the product list, select “Duplicate product.” Click “Apply.”

2) Another way is to click on the “Edit” link. Then, you should see a box with options to duplicate the product once or multiple times.

3) Yet still, you should see the “Duplicate this product” link in the admin bar when you are editing the product.

How does it work?

Install the WooCommerce Easy Duplicate Product plugin. In your product editor, you will see a “Duplicate” link on your right hand side. Just click on it to duplicate a product.

How do I duplicate a product multiple times?

Go to your product editor. On the right hand side, there’s link that says “Multiple”. Click on it, and enter how many times you want to duplicate the product.

What if I want to duplicate more than one product?

You can do that by ticking each product in the product list. Then, chose “Duplicate product” from your bulk actions. Click “Apply” and you’re sorted!

Breaking Variation products

When I duplicate variation products using a plugin, it breaks all my variation products, including those I haven't duplicated.

If I want to add a huge chunk of dummy products to my woocommerce store, this is a fantastic tool. It means I don't get directed to a new product page to make changes there before I publish it.

One suggestion I would make is an option to turn off appending "(copy)" to each new product. For developers like myself, this would help when creating dummy products.

I was pleased to find this plugin. This got me out of a jam of subdividing one of our products with multiple variations where the customer wanted products showing Stainless Steel as a finish to appear as its own product. I dreaded putting in the product again then thought perhaps someone already figured this out for me. Cheers!
