WooCommerce Order Test provides a testing payment gateway for WooCommerce. It allows you to simulate a full checkout process on your site to confirm everything is running smoothly. The gateway is available for admin users only.

Install from the WP Dashboard

  1. Log into your WP dashboard, then click Plugins > Add New

  2. Under the “Install Plugins” title, click Upload

  3. Choose the plugin zip file, upload, and activate the plugin.

Install from FTP

  1. Extract the zip file and upload the contents to the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WP installation.

  2. Activate the plugin from the Plugins page.

Great plugin! I wish I had found it a long time ago. Before installing it, I had looked at a different plugin called Sandbox Payment Gateway, but when placing a test order, you had to enter valid credit card numbers or actual banking info. That is a definite red flag so I did not install it. This plugin however, requires no payment info, so I highly recommend it.

A handy way to put through test orders on a live site, without having to put the primary payment gateway into a test or sandbox mode. Means real orders can continue to flow through, whilst admin does test orders.
