Automatic installation steps
1. Install the plugin via Plugins Add New and search for “PostFinance Checkout”.
2. Activate the plugin in WordPress.
3. Set your credentials under WooCommerce Settings PostFinance Checkout.
4. Done — payment methods visible in checkout.

Manual installation steps
1. Upload files to /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate via ‘Plugins’.

Super Plugin, einfache Einrichtung, problemloser Betrieb

Ich konnte das Plugin problemlos installieren und die Anbindung von PostFinance Checkout an meinen Woo-Commerce Shop hat problemlos funktioniert. Verstehe die negativen Bewertungen überhaupt nicht, da die erwähnten Probleme scheinbar nichts mit dem Plugin zu tun haben. --> Läuft einwandfrei!

Beinflusst andere Zahlungsarten

Ich muss hier auch eine Warnung aussprechen. Nicht nur ist das Plugin immer stark veraltet und produziert gravierende Fehler, es beeinflusst auch andere Zahlungsarten auf die es garkeinen Zugriff haben sollte!

Im Moment lässt es Paypal- und Vorkasse-Zahlungen fehlschlagen, obwohl diese nichts mit dem Postfinance-Plugin zu tun haben.

Das ist höchst unprofessionelle Programmierung. Hier fehlen absolut grundlegende Überprüfungen (z.B. ist das überhaupt eine Zahlungsart, die mich etwas angeht).

Enttäuschend und Besorgnis erregend.

Seit September 2024 hat das Plugin bei uns schwerwiegende Probleme. Keine Zahlungen kommen durch. Der Support ist leider nutzlos und verwies monatelang auf GitHub. Dort ist leider einsehbar, dass so gut wie keine Sicherheitsmassnahmen aktiv sind.
Nun meint der Techniker der Post, dass bei ihnen "alles richtig" läuft und es wird verlangt, dass ALLE ANDEREN Plugins stören. Tests in einer Sandbox zeigen aber, dass die anderen Plugins nichts mit den Störungen zu tun haben. Die Kommunikation ist, obwohl freundlich, absolut lächerlich - die Probleme bestehen nach acht Monaten noch immer. Tragisch. Ein Stern ist noch übertrieben.

Anhaltende Probleme mit dem PostFinance-Plugin

Leider treten mit dem Plugin von PostFinance immer wieder gravierende Probleme auf. Für einen Dienstleister dieses Formats ist es enttäuschend, dass man sich mit einer derart mangelhaften Programmierung und unzureichender Qualitätssicherung zufriedengibt.

Das Plugin ist äußerst langsam, schlecht optimiert und verursacht regelmäßig Fehler. Seit dem letzten Update funktioniert es erneut nicht zuverlässig – in einem Fall war sogar ein manueller Eingriff in die Datenbank erforderlich, um die Fehlfunktionen zu beheben.

Liebe Entwickler: Mit dieser Umsetzung ist weder Ihnen noch Ihren Kunden geholfen. Es besteht dringender Verbesserungsbedarf.

very bad plugin, always many Versions behind. Right now 13.02.2025 they support woocommerce which is 5 month old only.

When you want to apply major security updates then the plugin doesnt work anymore.
not how a payment provider should care about his product.

Immer nur Probleme

Wir haben über ein das Jahr PostFinance Checkout Plugin benutzt. Fazit: Das Plugin ist schlecht entwickelt, hinkt immer unzähligen WooCommerce Aktualisierungen hinterher und bei jedem Plugin Update muss man Angst haben das etwas wieder nicht funktioniert. Nie wieder.

Mein Tipp an euch: Rennt so schnell wie möglich zu Datatrans, dort habt ihr mit mameDEV einen kompetenten Entwickler hinter dem WooCommerce Plugin das perfekt funktioniert, und sollte doch mal etwas nicht ganz bei der Integration mit einem Zahlungsmittel funktionieren, wird sofort auf Probleme eingegangen und diese umgehend mit einem Update gelöst. Seit dem läuft bei uns alles reibungslos.

Plugin is constantly lagging behind the WooCommerce releases. After every update, there is a risk that things will no longer work.

Jamais à jour et depuis plus d'un an avec la dernière version de woocommerce, on dirait que l'équipe ne se soucis aucunement du problème !? Bon, on dirait que cela bouge car il y avait de grandes différences de versions et aujourd'hui c'est mieux : "The plugin PostFinanceCheckout has been tested up to WooCommerce 9.3.1 but you have installed the version 9.3.2. Please notice that this is not recommended."

Initial release with multilingual readme integration.
