This plugin adds feature to create multiple posts / pages at once with empty content and given title or empty title.

Features:

  • Bulk Add Posts: Create multiple posts at once.
  • Bulk Add Pages: Quickly add multiple pages in one go.
  • Set Post Status: Choose the publication status for each post or page.
  • Assign Post Author: Select the author for the new content.
  • Assign Categories: Apply categories to posts effortlessly.
  • Custom Post Types (CPT) Support: Compatible with custom post types.

To add a WordPress Plugin using the built-in plugin installer:

Go to Plugins > Add New.

  1. Type in the name “WP Create Multiple Posts & Pages” in Search Plugins box
  2. Find the “WP Create Multiple Posts & Pages” Plugin to install.
  3. Click Install Now to begin the plugin installation.
  4. The resulting installation screen will list the installation as successful or note any problems during the install.
    If successful, click Activate Plugin to activate it, or Return to Plugin Installer for further actions.

To add a WordPress Plugin from GitHub repo / plugin zip file :
1. Go to WordPress plugin page
2. Click Add New & Upload Plugin
3. Drag / Click upload the plugin zip file
4. The resulting installation screen will list the installation as successful or note any problems during the install.
If successful, click Activate Plugin to activate it, or Return to Plugin Installer for further actions.

How to use this plugin?

Just after installing WP Create Multiple Posts & Pages plugin, Go to Main Menu -> Multiple Posts.

Insert you posts / pages title in each line and set type – status – category and author. Click to create a blast posts.

Only one essential feature missing

Great time saver. I was able to quickly add over a 100 book titles by simple pasting the .txt file with the titles into the field. Each line ended up on its own insert line inside the plugin. The only bummer was that I now have over a 100 new pages on the root level, while I would have loved to add these as subpages to my "Books" page. Luckily, the "Bulk Edit" function of WordPress itself saved me from literally having to move each page individually.

Great plugin, would be great if it had its area under tools or settings rather than taking up an entire row in the dashboard for such a small function. but beggars cant be choosers, it does wha tit needs to do.

It's Great - but I'm missing something

So, I go into WP Create Multiple Posts. Looks great! I can type 1 post title, adjust the author, the status (draft), add a category. How do I get to line 2? By the way, I'm okay adding one at a time, but it's a tease to be able to add multiple titles when I can't. Still better than New Post, save. New Post, save. Kind regards SunlitSoul (I'm using Google Chrome with WordPress 5.8.2 running Zakra theme. Server running PHP version: 7.4.26. MySQL version: 5.7.23-23)

Need to make a fast demo or at least structure a site so you can put information in quickly, then this tool is your friend. A no nonsense approach. Nicely posts can be categorised as well which is a pleasant bonus.

Featured on iThemes Plugin Roundup, June 2018. A handy plugin to install at the beginning of site creation to make creating multiple pages and posts simple. Doesn't support custom post types at present, but hopefully the author will add this 🙂
