CSV (Comma Separated Values) is a file format for data storage which looks like a text file. The information is organized with one record on each line and each field is separated by comma.

Installing the plugin:

  1. Unzip the plugin’s directory into wp-content/plugins.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. The plugin will be available under Tools -> WP Importer on
    WordPress administration page.

Can I create dynamic pages using this plugin file?

Yes, You can create dynamic pages by CSV file.

Are there any limitation to create number of dynamic pages?

No, There are not any limitation to create number of pages.

Can I update content of exiting posts by CSV file?

  • Yes, You can update content by CSV file but these existing pages should be created by this plugin.

Can I define post author in CSV file?

  • Yes,You can define post author by author id. you will need to add author id under author column

Can I define post order in CSV file?

  • Yes, you can define post order in CSV file for each post

Can I assign post category in CSV file?

Useless Plugin

This plugin is a waste of time..don't even try..very few options to create a post using a csv or xls file.

Does not work and no support

I sent this email asking for support to the support email on their website. I also replied back to the purchase receipt from when i bought this plugin. "Hey man, i bought your WP Importer Pro.. I have all data formatted correctly and tried to import a csv with over 7,000 records. Importer only imported 1,600 lines of data. Big problem. How can this be fixed?" It's been 5 days so far and i've gotten no response. I would not recommend purchasing as you won't get support and besides that the plugin has serious import limitations and in some other cases it did not import my data at all. What a waste.

Does not work

Installed plugin, but can't even get to the "Settings" page. Then I upgraded to WordPress 4.6 (from 4.5.3). Same problem: "Cannot load wp-importer."

Whilst under WordPress 4.5.3, I couldn't even deactivate the plugin. At least deactivation works under WP 4.6

I can pretty much rule out a plugin conflict – I have very little plugins installed (only some few established plugins such as yoast and akismet)
