Select the color of each existing job category in the Job Listings’ settings. Can set the color to be the background color, or text color.

Installation

Install and Activate
Go to “Job Listings > Settings > Job Category Colors” and set colors.

Don't bother with any of Myles Mcnamara's plugins - free or paid. He isn't interested (or is too much of a snob) to reply to any emails about the functionality of his plugins or providing support for them. Not the best if you need help with any of them.

Just what I needed

I spend 6 hours trying to change the code for job types and categories so I could have them all colourful using Job Type Colors plugin. Then I finally found this, which solved my issue. Works great! Thanks sMyles!
