Easy to use voting contest plugin for WordPress. Simply let users vote photos/images in your Contests.

Installing and activating this plugin will place a vote button and a vote count below each photo of all contestants images using the [showcontestants id=’category id’] shortcode.

Note: Only logged in users can vote in Lite version!

To login, go to the Demo dashboard and login with demo / demo4.

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload wp-voting-contest folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to the Contest Category and create the Contest and the shortcode in the page [showcontestants id=’category id’] to vote for the contestants

What is Category ID

Created Contest Category term ID is the Category ID to be used in the shortcode.

What contest it supports

It only supports the Photo/Image Contest.

Great Support Team

My main issues with this plugin were related to Facebook. Matt was able to help me navigate them in order to get the plugin working. Without his help I would not have been able to get this live. There are lots of plugins out there, but having one with great support makes it a lot easier to implement.

Great product

We are using this product for artists to upload images for art competitions, for reviewers to select or reject them, and for online voting people's choice awards. It is wonderful, does everything I need, and the support is very responsive.

Pages crash after inserting contest's shortcode

I inserted a contest's shortcode on a page and updated it. When I previewed the page, it loads and then crashes. Someone should please help, what could be the problem?

Needs more frequent updates

I have successfully used this plugin, but the plug-in has some know bugs that have been reported. The last plugin update is 9/19/20.

Hated It.

I rarely leave negative reviews like this... but I HATED this plug in. It didn't work as advertised, was unbelievably clunky, and I spent more time supporting/troubleshooting with our users than I would have if I had just authored a solution myself. At the end of the day, I wound up having to disable pretty much all of the 'features' to get it to a point where our users could use it. Add into the mix that this is something I paid for? Nope.

There is nothing to use in free version of this plugin and not in even paid one

Very Satisfied With Product And Tech Support

Excellent product, tech support, and customer service. My Song competition went perfect without a hitch, automatically starting and ending at scheduled times with 100% satisfying results. When I had a tech problem that threatened the advertised start time of the voting, the tech guys worked outside of their normal hours to fix it. It didn't matter that they sent me an updated email that all was well, the manager still made an international phone call to verbally inform me that, I'm set to go as planned. I recommend this plugin 100%

Cool plugin if you have $100 to spend
