Remove WPMU Dashboard Install Nag
Remove WPMU Dashboard Install Nag
Description
WPMU has great themes and plugins. Unfortunately, many, if not most, come with a nag notice that admins see about installing their notifications dashboard plugin. If you’ve bought one plugin for your site this is probably overkill. If you’re a developer you don’t need this on your client’s sites.
This is a simple plugin that removes the notice. The 1.3 version has been checked against WP 4.4 and recent WPMU plugins, but still should be backwards compatible with older versions of WPMU plugins.
Note: If you do decide to you install the WPMU notifications plugin, please deactivate this one first. Errors may occur if you don’t.

Q: Will this always work?
A: It should work with all WPMU themes and plugins, but no promises, especially if they update how the notifications nag is displayed. I’ll try and update it.
Q: How do I thank you?
A: A little cash. http://www.protospace.com/wpmu-no-nag-plugin/

BEST........PLUGIN.......EVER

I am SO SORRY I ever purchased a WPMU DEV plugin! Their ads are overbearing and annoying. This plugin is the greatest! I don't have to be reminded of the terrible mistake I made by downloading WPMU DEV plugins.
Simple and to the point

Works as advertised. Now, why a plugin should be needed for this is another question altogether, and installing and activating this plugin is no substitute for filing an RFE to either add a close button to those annoying nags or a switch to turn them off (and their pref doesn't always work, apparently).
Thanks for this!
Works as advertised

and WPMU does not give you any support ! stay away from them
Changelog
1.1 Removed the nag from the multi-site request to install the dashboard. The WPMU Dashboard is a great product, but you may have reasons to not use it and not be bothered by the screen.
1.2
We don’t talk about this version as it didn’t ever work right.
1.3
This should work well without conflicting with other plugins.
