When remote storage is enabled, backup archives and required authentication tokens are sent to the selected service’s API. Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

I have using the WPvivid Backup Plugin primarily since I can remember, I have tried other and they all either seemed to give me issues one way or another. I cant think of one time WPvivid has let me down, I highly recommend it. Your use may vary, as not all plugins like to work with every other plugin available and I sometimes experiment with various plugins, so I highly recommend keeping WordPress and all plugins up to date, but also recommend backing up before you do.

I needed to migrate a medium sized site and struggled to get the old site to backup, Vivids support eventually found and fixed the problem and it was my server at fault not the plugin!

The best free backup plugin!

Never had problems with this amazing free backup plugin. Sometimes it times-out on slow webservers but there are enough advanced options to fix this. You can even transfer a site to another server/domain via a secret link and it even auto replaces the domain for you. The UI maybe could get some work and it's been a beta version for a long long time now but really never had any issues.

Great backup option

I was looking for a solution that would link to my OneDrive cloud account and would be available for free. WPvivid appeared as an option. I installed the plugin and took a backup to my OneDrive cloud storage.

To make matters more complicated, I made some changes on my website, and after the changes, the site appeared completely empty. Fortunately, I had the WPvivid backup, which I restored. The restoration was a simple process and took hardly five minutes. The site was restored to its earlier state.

Full disclosure: I had another backup solution (I do not wish to share the name), which was the most downloaded plugin. I had disabled it before installing WPvivid. I have since removed that plugin and now use WPvivid with a scheduled backup in place.
