YAT DashNotes is a lightweight, developer-friendly tool designed for freelancers and agencies. It allows you to create custom dashboard widgets to guide your clients, provide support contact information, or display project notes.

Stop sending long emails with instructions. Place them exactly where your clients need them—right in their WordPress dashboard.

  • Visual Editor: Use the familiar WordPress editor (TinyMCE) to format your notes with bold text, lists, and links.
  • Dashboard Cleanup: Optionally hide all default WordPress widgets (At a Glance, Activity, etc.) to give your clients a clean, focused workspace.

  1. Upload the yat-dashnotes folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to Settings > Client Widgets to create your first note.

Can I use HTML in the notes?

Yes, the plugin uses the standard WordPress editor, so you can add links, bold text, and lists easily.

Who can manage these notes?

Only users with the manage_options capability (typically Administrators) can create or edit notes.
