This plugin removes the featured image and images from the gallery when removing a WooCommerce product. WARNING: This plugin is designed for when you want to permanently remove a product. This plugin deletes the images when sending to the trash, when restoring the product from the trash the images will not be restored, you will have to reassign the images.

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload RemoveProductImages.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. That’s all

Can images be recovered when restoring a product from the trash?

In this version of the plugin, the answer is definitely no, if you restore a product from the trash you will have to assign the images again
