This plugin does not connect to any external services. All functionality runs entirely on your own server.

  1. Upload the yxx-comment-commander folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to Settings Comment Control to configure.
Does this plugin delete existing comments?

No. The plugin hides the comment form and existing comments. No data is removed.

Will it break my theme?

No. The plugin uses standard WordPress hooks and doesn’t modify any theme files.

Can I re-enable comments later?

Yes. Just uncheck the options and comments will return exactly as they were.

Is it GDPR compliant?

Yes. The plugin doesn’t store any user data or use cookies.

Does this plugin make any external requests?

No. The free version runs entirely on your server. No data is sent anywhere.
