Ziora Image SEO Renamer helps WordPress users manage image filenames directly from the Media Library.

Automatic renaming of new uploads can be enabled or disabled from the plugin settings.

  1. Install and activate Ziora Image SEO Renamer through the WordPress Plugins screen.
  2. Go to Media > Ziora Image SEO Renamer.
  3. Review your images and their SEO status.
  4. Rename individual images or select multiple images for bulk renaming.
  5. Go to Media > Settings to enable or disable automatic renaming of new image uploads.
Does the plugin rename existing images?

Yes. Existing images can be renamed individually or in bulk from the Ziora Image SEO Renamer dashboard.

Does the plugin automatically rename new uploads?

Yes. Automatic renaming is enabled by default and can be disabled from the plugin settings.

What happens to old image URLs after renaming?

The plugin stores the previous image URL and redirects requests for the old image URL to the renamed image URL.

Does the plugin update image URLs in post content?

Yes. When an image is renamed, matching references to its previous URL in post content are updated.

Can I export my image SEO information?

Yes. You can export an image SEO report as a CSV file from the Ziora Image SEO Renamer dashboard.

Does the plugin change image Alt Text?

No. The plugin analyzes Alt Text but does not automatically change existing Alt Text.
