Rural Blog

Rural Blog is a simple, minimalist and lightweight WordPress blog theme for a personal blog, a personal website and writers: hobby bloggers, authors, essayists, poets, students and beginners, and anyone keeping a journal, a diary or a notes blog. Clean typography and a narrow, Medium-style reading column put your words first. Start from a free demo, imported in a few clicks: a minimalist blog, a writer's blog of essays, a photography blog, a photo journal, a travel blog, a lifestyle blog, an illustrator or artist portfolio, a developer blog and a plain-text blog with your photo, an about page, a now page and an archive. What makes it different? (1) Fast and lightweight: one small stylesheet and one tiny script, no jQuery, no page builder. (2) No Google Fonts: system fonts, or self-hosted fonts from the WordPress Font Library. (3) Easy for beginners: every option in the native WP Customizer, with a live preview: a stacked feed, a compact list or a grid, a left or right sidebar, a round photo next to your name, colors, fonts and seven link styles. (4) Classic theme with the native Gutenberg block editor. (5) Accessibility and SEO friendly, translation ready. Live preview: https://rural-blog.owldraft.com
